Built for People Who
Refuse to Settle.
Functional medicine, chiropractic care, and private recovery rooms -- all under one roof in Inver Grove Heights. We take the time to figure out what is actually going on, then build a plan around it.
Dr. Danny Pietruszewski
Functional Medicine Focus
Danny grew up in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, playing hockey, football, baseball, and track and field. That background in athletics gave him an early appreciation for how the body works -- and what happens when something is off.
He played football at St. John's University while earning his bachelor's degree in biology, then completed his doctorate in chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
What He Focuses On
Danny's primary focus at Optimum Health is functional medicine and blood work analysis. He digs into the underlying metabolic, nutritional, and hormonal factors behind his patients' symptoms -- rather than just treating what is on the surface. While he is trained in chiropractic and rehab as well, functional medicine is where he spends most of his time.
Outside of work, Danny is usually exercising, fishing, golfing, or watching Minnesota sports.
Danny started Optimum Health because he wanted a clinic where patients get real answers -- not a 10-minute appointment and a prescription.
Dr. Matthew Cady
Chiropractic & Rehab Focus
Matt grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota, playing baseball and hockey. Sports are what got him interested in training, nutrition, and understanding how the body recovers.
He earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of St. Thomas in 2020, then spent time working as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer before completing his doctorate in chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
What He Focuses On
Matt handles most of the chiropractic care, physical rehab, and strength and conditioning work at Optimum Health. He is also trained in functional medicine and blood work analysis, so he can approach patient care from multiple angles -- but hands-on rehab and chiropractic is his day-to-day.
His background as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) means he understands both the clinical side and the performance side, which is helpful for patients coming back from injury or trying to stay ahead of one.
When he is not in the clinic, Matt is usually running, skiing, golfing, or playing pickleball.
Matt joined Optimum Health to work in a setting where he has the time and tools to actually help people get better -- not just rush through adjustments.
Root-Cause Wellness,
Not Symptom Management.
Most clinics treat the symptom and move on. We take a different approach -- we want to understand why you are dealing with what you are dealing with. That means looking at bloodwork, nutrition, biomechanics, lifestyle, and stress, then building a plan that actually addresses the root cause.
We combine functional medicine with chiropractic care, physical rehab, and recovery therapies like sauna, cold plunge, red light, and PEMF. Everything is under one roof, in private rooms, with providers who know your full picture. Whether you are an athlete, a busy professional, or just someone who wants to feel better and stay ahead of problems -- we are here for that.
This is a different kind of wellness clinic. Private suites, real diagnostics, and a team that takes the time to get it right.
